Open to currently enrolled college and university women ages 18–28, Miss Sovereign Eminence Collegiate pairs the system's signature feedback experience with a $750 scholarship, crowning a collegiate woman of poise, purpose, and drive. The Title Open to currently enrolled college and university women, ages 18–28 A $750 scholarship awarded to the winner, invested in her education and future. Half will go directly to your institution, and the other half will go directly to you for books, dorm supplies any other personal use you may need. A titleholder year representing the Miss Sovereign Eminence Collegiate legacy on campus and beyond. As a scholarship title, Miss Sovereign Eminence Collegiate carries a titleholder agreement for the scholarship year, because when we invest in a queen, we crown a partnership. What you will not face: political questions, religious questions, unless these are on your paperwork. Our judges are not testing whether you memorized current events. They are determining whether you can lead a room. Judges score: communication and articulation, substance and depth of your answers, composure under follow-up questions, leadership presence, and authenticity. Oratorical Presentation - 22% An oratorical theme is announced in your entry packet, and you'll deliver a prepared two-minute speech on that theme from the stage. Write it, refine it, and own it. This is where a campus queen becomes a national contender. Judges look for: content, articulation, eloquence, persuasion, and command of the stage. Evening Gown - 15% The moment every queen imagines. You'll present in a full-length evening gown of your own choosing; color, fabric, and silhouette are entirely yours. Think of the Oscars or the Grammy Awards: elegant, sophisticated, age-appropriate, and unmistakably you. Choose shoes you can genuinely walk in, and choose a gown that makes you feel your absolute best, because the judges will see it the moment you step out. Judges look for: poise and movement, grace through the walk and turns, overall presentation and polish, and a final pose that lands. The gown's price tag is never scored, how you carry it is. On-Stage Question - 5% Thirty seconds. No preparation. No second take. On stage, in front of the audience, you will draw and answer one question in thirty seconds. Questions are general in nature — current events, issues of national concern, or matters affecting students and communities. Nothing is pulled directly from your private interview. This phase carries the lightest weight on our scoresheet and the heaviest weight in the room. It is the moment the audience decides who you are, and the moment our judges confirm what they saw behind closed doors. Judges score: articulation, wit and intelligence, composure under pressure, and eloquence without rehearsal. Talent - 18% Two minutes to show us something true. Talent is open to any discipline: vocal performance, instrumental music, dance of any style, spoken word, dramatic or comedic interpretation, or a demonstrated skill like a science experiment. Step performance, sign language interpretation, visual art created live, and original composition are all welcome. If it is a genuine gift, it belongs on our stage. Contestants are responsible for providing their own props, instruments, backing tracks, and any accompaniment. Music files are due by the published deadline in your entry packet. Any props or set pieces will be set up and taken down by our staff for you. We do not score talent on how "pageant" it looks. A coder demonstrating her work, a poet delivering original verse, and a classically trained vocalist are judged on the same criteria: mastery of the thing you chose to do. Judges score: skill and execution, entertainment value, originality, and stage presence. Attire: appropriate to your talent, in good taste. *No Nudity or extreme cut outs). Academic & Leadership Portfolio - 15% Our collegiate queens are scholars first, and we score them that way. Your portfolio is submitted and judged as a full phase of competition; not verified as a formality. It includes four components: Official transcript from your current institution Cumulative GPA, with a minimum of 2.5 required to enter. Leadership résumé documenting your campus involvement, organizational positions, honors, community service, and work experience Two letters of recommendation from a faculty or staff member at your institution who can speak to your character and contribution We weight this phase deliberately because a scholarship title should reward scholarship. A crown that ignores the classroom is not a collegiate crown. How to prepare: request your official transcript early — registrars can run behind, and a late transcript costs you the phase. Ask your recommender at least three weeks out, and give her your résumé and the theme of the title so she can write specifically. Build your résumé to be readable: two pages maximum , reverse chronological, quantified where possible ("led a 40-member organization," not "held leadership role"). Judges score: academic achievement and standing, depth and consistency of leadership and service, and the strength and specificity of your recommendation.

Princess Program The Princess Program For our youngest supporters, ages 4–12. The Princess Program is a non-competitive mentorship experience — there is no judging, no placement, and no competition among the girls who participate. Every participant is paired with a current titleholder as her personal mentor, attends a confidence and etiquette workshop, and takes part in a featured, non-judged walk during Final Night. Tiers: Tiny Sovereign (4–6) How the Competition Works Miss Sovereign Eminence keeps its core competition simple and focused: Private Interview — a closed-door panel interview, with judges giving live feedback immediately afterward Evening Gown — a scored preliminary walk Together, these determine our semifinalists. Semifinalists return for a final Evening Gown walk, are narrowed to the Top 5, and a live, unscripted Final Question decides the winner.
